Here you can see the two directions(variations) I went in developing this original character concept, Rai, a more cartoonish/exaggerated and a more semi-realistic approach side by side, I also wanted to maintain a more monochromatic palette in the cartoonish one and a more contrasting combination in the other to support the semi-realistic style.
