Here I painted this original desert scene (which has a feeling of both loneliness and peacefulness) in two different style; a refined fully rendered digital painting with both hard edges and blended textures in it and a variation of it with messy brush strokes to make it convey a cave art feeling.
These are some of the thumbnails sketched at the beginning of this project, there are a lot of different compositional ideas here including the ones that I want to develop next as well.
