An anti-design that hopes NOT to sell! This project's aim was to design a packaging that will reduce the Marlboro cigarette purchases. (the reason on choosing a specific brand was to be able to have a certain target audience to work with).
Started with analyzing the existing design and seeing what makes Marlboro unique I ended up deciding that I want to make a knock-off feeling on purpose in this project and with that 'cheap' feeling the Marlboro users who seeks luxury won't believe it's quality anymore.

On the left side you can see some of the first explorations. and the final design is on the right.

Here are the 7 big changes I made on the orijinal design to create that knock off feeling, Even the logo re-written by hand and the famous slogans switched! The color palette desaturated, the dimensions are off... it claims to be Marlboro but it definitely doesn't assures it's quality.
